Canvas + Loft

Every Google review, and the salesperson who earned it

Canvas + Loft gets Google reviews, but reading them meant opening Google. Reviews pulls them into one dashboard, tracks the rating trend, and lets a salesperson claim a review that names them.

Scoreboard award fed by claimed reviews

The problem

Reviews were coming in. Nobody was keeping score.

Checking on new reviews meant a manager opening Google Business Profile and scrolling. There was no trend to look at, and no way to tie a glowing review back to the salesperson it mentioned.

  • New reviews were only seen when someone remembered to look
  • The rating was a number, not a trend
  • Praise for a salesperson never reached the scoreboard

How it fits together

  • Google reviews
  • Salesperson claims
The system Reviews
  • Rating trend
  • Reviews by salesperson
  • Award feed to Scoreboard
Reviews come in through the Google Places API. Claims feed the Scoreboard awards.

What it does

01

Review dashboard

The store's Google Business Profile reviews, pulled through the Google Places API into one place. Managers see the rating trend and what has come in since they last looked.

  • Rating trend
02

Review claiming

A salesperson can claim a review that mentions them. Claimed reviews are counted by salesperson and feed the Scoreboard awards, including Review Champion.

The impact

Reviews the whole floor can see, and take credit for.

Measured items come from the system itself. Projected items are our estimate, with the assumption stated, until the client confirms a figure.

What a manager stops doing by hand once reviews land in one place.

Assumes about a dozen Google reviews a month that name a salesperson.

Projected figures. They are our estimate for a business of this size, with the assumptions written under each number below. We replace them with measured results as clients confirm them.

Measured

review collection

Reviews are pulled through the Google Places API instead of someone opening Google Business Profile to look.

Measured

link between a review and the salesperson it names

The claiming flow records who earned each review and passes it to the Scoreboard.

Projected

~50 min

saved per week checking Google by hand

Assumes a manager checked Google twice a day for about 5 minutes each time, five days a week. The dashboard shows the same thing in one view.
